Meet QGM

QGM has extensive experience with large commercial & industrial customers and energy efficiency programs throughout New England. QGM founders and principal engineers have master’s degrees in mechanical engineering (MSME) from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. While gaining their degrees, they worked for the Industrial Assessment Center (IAC), conducting detailed energy audits for large manufacturing facilities.  The QGM principal engineers are DOE AirMaster+ Certified for compressed air systems and DOE pump system specialists. They also have over 25 years combined experience with compressed air systems, chilled water systems, large steam systems, and various manufacturing processes and equipment. QGM has recently focused on manufacturing process optimization including waste minimization and productivity improvement - utilizing energy metrics to help sites track and sustain progress.

Alex and Justin met in 2010 at UMASS Amherst Mechanical Engineering graduate program where they worked at the Industrial Assessment Center (IAC). They were quick to notice that passion and dedication for energy management was a common denominator. The team at QGM hopes to share this passion with customers and clients over the years to come.
